Autonomous District Council Primary Teachers' 2009-DPC Faced Candidates Association (ADCPT) expressed solidarity to the 72-hour bandh which would be called from the midnight of April 6 in the hill districts of Manipur by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the 2006 DPC faced candidates' parents and guardians, Manipur.
The association has warned the government that stern action would be taken if it fails to declare the result within a week's time, according to ADCPT.
Mang Haokip, secretary of the association also appealed to all the NGO's, student bodies to extend support to the 72 hours bandh in favour of the association.
The association also questioned the government for taking time in declaring the free and fair DPC result.
It further warned the government that extreme course of action would be taken by the association including the Autonomous District Council (ADC) Primary Teachers' 2009 if the result is not declared within a week's time.
Meanwhile, the Committee for Declaration of Autonomous has also extended support to the 72 hours bandh in hill districts of Manipur called by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the 2006 DPC faced candidates' parents and guardians, Manipur.
