A bridge between Sapermeina and Koubru Leikha along Imphal-Dimapur (National-Highway-2) was substantially damaged in bomb (IED) explosions in the intervening night of April 23 and April 24 2024 .
Three craters on the middle of the road with cracks on both ends of the bridge and safety barriers were damaged due to the explosion.
