Imphal, March 24 2010:
The Jiri bandh called by various civil organisations against the arrest of two scribes and a social activist continued today with vehicles remaining off the roads including National Highway 53 and business establishments shutting shutters, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Jiribam based journalists, M Romio and A Lukhoi and social activist M Maipaksana were arrested by Imphal East district police commandos from their respective houses in the wee hours of Monday.
The bandh would be relaxed for two days from tomorrow.
