Imphal, January 05: The Governor�s Cup Open (amateur) Golf Championship organised by Manipur Golf Association will be held on January 22 at the 4 Assam Rifles Golf Course, Mantripukhri.

Interested golfers may contact the Association officials for more details.

Last date for submission of entries would be January 14.Athletic trial on January 8: Athletic Association of Manipur will conduct a trial programme on January 8 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium from 7 am onwards to select State athletes for the National and Federation Cup cross country championships to be held at Pune (Feb 5) and Munnar of Kerala (Feb 26) respectively.

State referee named for nationals: The Volleyball Federation of India Referees� Board has nominated L Baleswor Sharma of Manipur as SRC/Invited Referee for the 54th Senior National Volleyball Championship (men & women) to be held at Pune from January 10 till 20.
