Meet urges for early project completion

Imphal, January 05: A public meeting organised jointly by Manipur Loumi Marup (MLM) branches of Khewa -Khuju, Pukhao Laipham, Pukhao Khabam and Naharup at Pukhao Iranpham bazar has undertaken serious deliberations on various development programmes and welfare schemes in Khundrakpam assembly constituency and resolved to urge for the resumption and completion of Dolaithabi Barage project with an installed capacity of providing irrigation to about 7527 hectares of agricultural land.

Moreover the meeting resolved to demand improvisation of Sagolmang PHC like appointment of requisite number of staff, nurses, doctors and necessary medical equipments, renovation of Imphal Keibi, Imphal-Khundrakpam-Saikul roads, operationalisation of RLI scheme at Sagolmang Taret Khul, provision for sufficient SK oil to every household which is now only 1.5 litres for each household etc.
