Imphal, January 05: The 52nd Conference cum Sports Meet, 2006 would be organised by the Lamkang Students' Union at Nungkangching from January 17 to 24 whereat many public leaders, MLAs , student leaders including president of NSF, bureaucrats, intellectuals, mission workers from Manipur and beyond would take part, informed a press release issued by the Lamkang Students' Union.

The main highlights of the meet would be literary competitions and sports events, it mentioned while condoling the untimely demise of Mathang Koko Maring on January 2 and expressing their share in the pain and loss felt by the bereaved family.

The Union also wished all the people of Manipur �a bright and successful year�.
