Ukhrul bodies condemn assault

Imphal, January 30: Various social organisations and student bodies including Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has severely condemned the physical assault by the associates of MLA A Aza on Ukhrul DC, Mohan Lal Meena as deplorable and immature.

A joint statement issued by TNL, TMNL, TKS and TSL expressed shock at the behaviour of the MLA .

Further these orgnisations, in conjunction with the proceedings of the sitting at the office of TNL, have called for immediate stringent remedial measures concerning the high handedness of the MLA while dealing with the district administrator including the highly condemnable physical assault.
