Imphal, January 30:
Striking a defiant posture, the Zeliangrong Revolutionary National Front today stated that despite the assassination of its chairman by the NSCN (K), there would be no retreat.
In a statement issued by the vice chairman, the outfit said that if efforts were made to talk things over, then situation may not have come to such a pass and added that it is unfortunate that the NSCN (K) has not tried to understand the aspirations of the ZRNF which is to strengthen the ties between the hill and plain people.
Echoing a strong stand, the statement reminded the NSCN (K) that the death of its chairman will not mean the end of the ZRNF as there will be no retreat.
