Imphal, January 30: Observing that power supply at Kakching and surrounding areas under Kakching sub-divisional power station has been totally cut off, the Scheduled Caste Students' Union, Kakching has appealed to the authority concerned to redress the grievance of the people immediately.

A statement issued by the Union informed that in aggregate there is power supply for only 24 hours in a week.

It lamented that the concerned executive engineer, RK Keshor has been approached time and again concerning the matter but there has no positive response so far.
