Imphal, March 01: Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) has expressed resentment against undue interference give to Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong in discharging his official duties in the service of the people.

The inhabitants of the district have been suffering under the rodent menace and subsequent crop failure thereby threatening their very existence.

In such a situation, giving undue pressure to the head of the district administration while carrying out distribution of food items is condemnable, ZU general secretary P Hemthui stated in a release and appealed to all concerned not to disturb the DC in discharging his duty.
