The Raj Bhavan garden was thrown open to the public from 2 pm to 4.30 pm today.
The flowers were in full bloom and the police band was in attendance.
A large number of people from various sections of the society including children visited the garden.
The inmates of PB Paul Mental Development Home, Mongsangei who came to see the garden, called on Governor Dr SS Sidhu.
The Governor presented a sum of Rs 2000 from his personnel account to the children of the Home.
