JNV hosts workshop on Lok Kala

Imphal, September 27: A workshop on Lok Kala was held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Pfukhro Mao, Senapati district on September 15.The workshop was sponsored by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the scheme of Art in Education, informed a delayed statement issued by the principal in-charge of the Vidyalaya today.

The workshop commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp jointly by N Amusana Devi, chief co-ordinator of the workshop and Ansamma Kurian, senior-most teacher of the Vidyalaya.

The workshop provided a platform to the students of the Vidyalaya to show case their talents on Manipuri Thougal Jagoi and Kabui Nagas dance.

In all 36 students participated during the workshop.
