Imphal, September 27:
Social worker Amrik Singh Pahwa who attended the TAAI convention at Colombo from Sept 23 to 27 highlighted the immense tourism potential of Manipur and appealed to the leaders of tourism and airlines industry to promote tourism in Manipur.
Despite its natural beauty, Manipur has been left behind in the tourism sector, said Pahwa and highlighted the regular cancellations of flights causing inconvenience to the public.
Pahwa also emphasised on the need to increase domestic flight to Manipur to expose it to the outside world.
