Imphal, February 04: The Khoibu Tribe Union has expressed heartfelt gratitude to social organisations, Government officials and unspecified number of individuals for their humane gesture towards Khoibu people especially Khangshim villagers in their hour of crisis.

Special mention was made of the Lok Sabha MP Mani Charenamei, MLA D Korungthang, Thoubal SP, Kakching SDPO, Pallel OC, Manipur Baptist Convention representatives, members of UNC, Ansam, NWUM, UNMM, UCM, Reach-m and SDO Kakching for providing healing touch to the affected villagers of the February 1 incident where properties worth lakhs were destroyed.
