Imphal, February 14: The first meeting of the governing body of Former Presiding Officer Forum, Manipur was held yesterday with the Forum's chairman W Angou presiding at the Assembly Secretariat.

According to a source, the meeting besides deciding to apprise the Assembly Speaker to provide a separate room for the Forum within the Assembly premise also endorsed proposal for active deliberation and participation in matters concerning Constitutional and Parliamentary issues.
