Imphal, January 19:
AHSA, Heirok began its campaign on a winning note with a 4-1 thrashing of CDO, Charangpat in the opening match of the Thoubal District Division III Football League Tournament at haokha ground today.
M Chinglen scored two goals in the 34th and 46th minutes while N Arun (48th) and Kh Somorjit (70th) found the Charangpat net on one occasion each for the convincing victory as S Khomeiton reduced the loss margin for CDO.
CITYC, Heirok will take on IYC, Khongjom tomorrow.
