Imphal, January 19: Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) will be organising a six day training workshop on construction of ferro-cement tanks as part of the project "Roof top rain water harvesting" catalysed and supported by DST GoI during Feb 2-7 2005 at MASTEC office complex Takyelpat Imphal West.

The main objectives of the workshop are to impart training to the participants about construction of ferro-cement tanks for storage of safe water and also to popularise roof top rain water harvesting in the region A series of lectures accompanied by interactions/group discussions and hands on practical will be delivered by various persons.

Interested persons, civil engineers, architect etc are requested to submit applications before Jan 28.
