For the first time in India, National Institute of Performing Arts and United Artists� Association, Tejpur would be jointly organising the First Exclusive Manipur Theatre Festival, 2005.From among the selected plays from Manipur, Numit Kappa of Manipur Theatre Academy, Wangoi, Nungsi Thel of Royal Theatrical Club, Elangbam Leikai and Hingchaba Hatpa of Highway Theatre, Awang Sekmai would be staged during the festival.
