Taking strong exception to the alleged reluctance on the part of the Registrar and the Finance Officer to attend to the demands of the Manipur University Staff Association (MUSA) inspite of the reported instructions of the Vice-Chancellor, the association has decided to wear black badges in addition to undertaking a poster campaign for three days from December 8 to 12 .
A press release issued by MUSA informed that the resolution to this effect was adopted during a meeting of its action committee held yesterday.
The committee discussed the proceedings of the joint meeting of the representatives of the MUSA, MUOA, Finance Officer, Registrar and Pro Vice-Chancellor on December 1 .
The black badge campaign will be followed by mass rally inside Manipur University campus and pen down strike from December 11 to 14.The association will resort to cease work stir from December 15, added the release.
