Imphal, September 19: The proscribed UNLF today claimed that cadres of one Coy of the 292 Bn successfully repulsed an attack jointly launched by the Indian security force and ZRO/ZRA at Thanlon sub-division in Churachandpur yesterday at about 3.30 pm.

In a statement, the outfit said that despite the attack launched by the combined team of Indian security force and ZRA, the MPA cadres reuplsed the attack.

This was not the first time that the ZRA had joined hands with the Indian security force to attack MPA cadres, said the statement and added that the ZRA has fallen into the trap laid by the Indian security force to set off one group against another.
