Imphal, September 19:
A personnel of 26 Assam Rifles was killed in an IED attack somewhere at Jiribam side today.
PRO of PIB Defence Wing on being contacted confirmed the casualty suffered by the Assam Rifles and added that the IED was electronically activated.
The proscribed PLA has claimed responsibility for the attack.
