Imphal, October 14: The proscribed UNLF today claimed that at least 12 security personnel were killed while scores were injured when an MPA team attacked an Assam Rifles post of 26 Sector at Holiang in Chandel district on the Indo-Myanmar border today at about 5.30 pm.

A spokesman of the outfit informed the press that while the MPA team was attacking the AR post reinforcement came in.

However the team was ambushed and they suffered heavy casualties claimed the spokesman.
