Imphal, November 21: The Manipur Apex Transport Co-operative Society Limited has deplored the innumerable potholes in the Imphal-Moreh section of NH 39.In a statement, the Society observed that such potholes have given rise to many fateful accidents claiming dozens of precious lives.

It further questioned to the authority concerned the logic behind the renovation of Okram to Thoubal section which was far better comparatively while other lop sided and pothole filled sections remained untended.

The society has also appealed to PWD (NH Division II) to take up immediately the renovation and repairing work of the sections where it is most needed.
