Imphal, November 21: Claimed to be biggest of its kind in the whole of North Eastern India, an education seminar and fair has begun from today at GM Hall here.

DIG of State Police Dept Rahman and General Manager of State bank of India, Imphal Branch PB Das attended the inaugural function as chief guest and president respectively.

Around nine Bangalore based educational institutions are opening up their stalls and taking part in the education fair being organised under the auspices of Spole Software, Khurai.

The chairmen and managers of some of the Bangalore-based education institutions which are taking part in the fair like Alliance Business Academy, IBMT, GEAR, Padmashree Groups, SEA, RK Institute of Management and Computer Science, Vardalaxmi College of Nursing spoke at the inaugural functions describing in details on the facilities being provided by their respective institutions.

In the seminar which was organised as part of the education fair, a large numbers of students from various schools located in and around Imphal like Johnstone Hr Sec School, CC Hr Sec School, GP Women�s College, Hundred Flowers School, Lamlong Hr Sec School apart from students from Kakching, Moirang and Wangoi took part in it.
