UTA, Keishamthong's reign in state level taekwondo competition continues with yet another outstanding performance by its players in the 25th Manipur State Taekwondo Championship, that concluded at Khuman Lampak Indoor stadium today.
Today's win is the 11th championship triumph of the Keishamthong contingent.
UTA tallied 407 points for the overall title ahead of SAI RC who finished runners-up on 184 points.
UTA also topped in the sub-junior boys and girls and junior girls events apart from securing second position in junior boys, senior boys and senior girls categories of the championship.
SAI RC occupied the top spot in junior and senior boys as well as senior girls events with CTI, Sagolband finishing second in sub-junior boys and Nambol wresting the runners-up honour in junior girls competition.
The closing ceremony of the championship held today was graced by the presence of Naoria Pakhanglakpa AC's MLA RK Anand, vice president of All Manipur Taekwondo Association O Indramani and AMTA president Y Khemchand as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
