Imphal, February 12: Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) has threatened to launch indefinite cease work strike with effect from February 20 if the Govt fails to implement the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties earlier within February 19.The decision to launch the indefinite ceasework strike was taken during an emergency meeting of the JAC convened today.

The meeting took serious note of failure of the Government to fulfil the demands of the employees as highlighted in the memorandum of understanding signed and the fast unto death being carried out by the adhoc employees.
