MPA celebrates 19th B'day

Imphal, February 12: The 19th foundation day of the armed wing of the UNLF, the MPA, was celebrated on February 9 at its Bn Hqs, Tact Hqs, and Ghq along with the local people, said a statement.

The main function of the day was offering floral tributes to those who have laid down their lives in the course of the armed struggle, reading out messages etc.

In his message the Chairman of the Military Affairs Committee of the outfit and chief of army staff praised the sacrifice of the MPA cadres and also acknowledged the co-operation extended by the public to the MPA.
