Misbehaviour with women nets IRB

Imphal, September 28: Three IRB personnel who misbehaved with girls have landed in police custody.

The three accused, all Riflemen of the Ist IRB allegedly misbehaved with the girls at Zou Veng Road under Ccpurr Police Station at around 6.15 pm yesterday.

According to report, two sisters, one aged 19 and the other 15, both residents of Khuga Tampak were walking down when the IRB men who were drunk tried to touch the body of the girls.

The IRB personnel also allegedly kicked the elder sister when she berated them.

The sisters lodged a complaint with the police this afternoon in connection with last night's incident and the IRB personnel were subsequently arrested.

The three IRB Riflemen who are in the police custody are identified as Mangkhochon, Lalpi and MV Lal.
