Imphal, February 25: Taking strong exception against the bomb attack on a passenger vehicle yesterday which damaged the vehicle and injured passengers, the JAC Imphal-Moreh Road Transporters has decided to suspend all passenger services on the route indefinitely with immediate effect.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the JAC today, said a statement and added that the meeting also decided to lay all the responsibility of the bomb attack on the Govt.The JAC said that it was just a few days ago that PULF had warned that it would target vehicles on the route if they fail to pay their tax but despite this, the Govt did nothing to provide security.

Most of the security personnel deployed on the Imphal- Moreh route are intent only on fleecing the vehicles, said the statement and urged the Govt to look into the matter.
