Imphal, August 17 2010:
Three officers of the Manipur Tribal Development Cooperation were abducted by unidentified persons but were later freed unharmed.
According to a police source, AO Elangbam Chandrakumar, EE Md Salaudin and AE Khuraijam Chandramani were abducted by unidentified armed persons at gun point from the Lamphelpat office of MTDC at about 10.30 am today.
However, all three of them were brought to Keishampat Thiyam Leikai in a car and set them free there at about 4.30 in the afternoon, added the police source.
