Imphal, September 24: Police retrieved the body of a man who succumbed to the injuries of stab wounds inflicted by his brother-in-law while the family mem-bers were trying to bury it. Police have also arrested the accused brother- in-law and the post mortem of the body was conducted at RIMS Hospital to-day.

According to police source, 26-year old K Neilen of Nungsai village under Bishnupur Police Station was undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital, Lamphelpat after he was stabbed by his bro-ther-in-law identified as Meisnam Boicha (32) of Keishampat Top Leirak on September 16 but he suc-cumbed to the injuries at the hospital yesterday.

The body was retrieved while the family members were trying to bury it today.
