Imphal, September 24: Expressing strong resentment on State Government and MPSC authorities deleting Education subject from the combined competitive examination syllabus Manipur university Students' union demanded inclusion of the subject.

Contending that legal tussle in the gauhati High Court on deleting Education subject from the ambit of the MPSC examination is due to short-sightedness of the State Govt-MPSC policy the student body further said denying certain section of candidates would not be acceptable. The move is also akin to sounding death knell of Education subject that has been attracting students in 72 affiliated colleges in addition to the subject occu- pying an important place in the MU curriculum, added a MUSU release.
