NH-53 repairing work halt

Imphal, September 24: Vehicular traffic in between Jiribam to Makru on the NH-53 momentarily came to a halt due to repairing of bridges in the said stretch. Heavy vehicles on this route were stopped from crossing the said point from either side as BRTF personnel engaged in replacing bridge planks were working round the clock, said informed source.

however, the source conveyed of late evening development in which passenger buses heading towards Jiribam/Silchar were allowed to passed through on completion of repairing work.
