Dimapur, July 17 2010: Terming the July 15 bomb blast in Guwahati's Fancy Bazar as "game or drama" by security forces and Assam police, the anti-talks Bodo rebel group NDFB Saturday said it was the policy of security force to put the blame on NDFB in the eye of the public.

Stating that propaganda in different media of Assam were "totally false and void," the NDFB's publicity wing, in an e-mailed statement, said it was waging war with Indian government and enemy of indigenous Boro people but not on the people living in Assam.

It stated that "drama" by security force and police was made only to harass and make the public panic.

Meanwhile, the rebel group regretted for the July8 blast on "Garib Rath Express", in which five-year-old child was killed.

It, however, justified that the blast was triggered because of "shabby treatment" to its leader and "false encounter" to one innocent Boro youth allegedly by Assam police and security force.

Further, the NDFB appealed to all the community to protest "those harassments" by security force and Assam police.

NDFB chief Ranjan Daimary, prime accused of the October 2008 Assam serial bomb blasts that claimed 92 lives, was today remanded to 14-day judicial custody in connection with case under the Arms Act here.

Goalpara chief judicial magistrate M.N.Saikia remanded Daimary to judicial custody.

He will be lodged at the Goalpara district jail for the next 14 days.

Daimary was produced before the CJM here on July 13 and remanded to four days police custody which expired yesterday.

He was arrested on May one in Bangladesh and handed over to Indian authorities the same day.

He was subsequently interrogated by several agencies including CBI which is investigating the serial blasts in Assam.
