Chairman of MANIDCO, MLA, N Mangi today urged the people to cooperate with the government in its efforts to control the spread of Japanese Encephalitis outbreak in the state by keeping their surroundings neat and clean.

Further speaking on the occasion, the MLA further said that the Kumbi Primary Health Centre will soon have 24x7 days service in a week.
About AIDS/HIV, he also stressed the need of knowing the disease as prevention from infection by the disease is the only way to protect from the disease.
Speaking as resource person, district malaria officer, Bishnupur district, Dr Sharatkumar said that as the disease spread from mosquitoes, the best way to protect from the disease is to prevent biting by the insect.
