The Queen's Baton would be brought to Kangla from Kohima on July 26.From Kangla, the Baton would be taken to some parts of Imphal East and Imphal West before winding up either at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex or 1st Bn Manipur Rifles compound.
In view of the comparative long hours that would be needed to take the Baton through Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts, the officials suggested shortening the route to the twin capital districts.
From Manipur, the Baton would be taken to Mizoram.
