The revised academic calendar of the state government is "unjust" as the annual academic calendar is greatly change and quite differences from the previous one, observed the Federation of All Tribal Youth Clubs Manipur (FATYCM) in a statement dispatched today.
The newly revised academic calendar of the state issued by the directorate of education (s) of which the annual academic calendar greatly change and quite differences from the previous one is unjust, the statement signed by Mayoshang Ninghsen said observing it unfavourable with the existing religious and cultural ethos of the state.
It is also not congenial with the existing climatic condition of the soil.
This degraded revised academic calendar also lacks uniformity and tranquility, the statement added.
The federation observed mockery on the part of the SPF government to hatch a mal-arrangement academic calendar at the pretext of recovering the previous years four months devastated academic atmosphere which has spoiled the entire process of learning to every learners.
Such an act can be termed as cowardice and awkward development which would ultimately creates many inherent demerits to the forthcoming school learners and spoils the academic atmosphere for the many successive years and even to a generation, the statement demanding timely rectification of the present defective calendar.
