Imphal, February 18: Chranram Village Authority Tousem has appealed to the Commissioner (PCS) to revoke it decision of diverting the allocation of SK Oil quota for Tousem areas under M/S BB Sons Jiribam.

In a memorandum submitted to the Commissioner (FCS), the village authority rued that diversion of the SK oil to Jiribam would be similar to denying SK Oil to the people of the area as the villager would never be able to get the oil because of the distance factor.

It also stated that such ill conceived attitude Govt towards the ignorant rural folk will breed hatred among the hills and the valley people.
