Imphal, February 18: Continuing their agitation demanding appointment of a senior most teacher of the college as the principal in-charge and giving DDO power to him, students of Thoubal College today burnt the effigy of CM O Ibobi Singh.

The students also warned of resorting to other intense form of agitation if the Govt remain indifferent to their demands.

Meanwhile, taking serious note of the ongoing impasse at the College, DESAM, Thoubal District Council has pressed the Government to concede to the rightful demands of the students and end the deadlock.
