With the addition of 11 more gold medal to the tally on the last day today, manipur bagged the overall championship title of the 24th North East Games held at Shillong.
Maximum number of the yellow metals were provided by wushu athletes with boxers swelling the total by four more gold and Ch Sonia adding the 5000 metre gold.
Moreover, wushu athletes also won two silver medals and a bronze while the pugilists providing five silver and four bronze to propel the State to the top of the medal table on 40 gold, 21 silver and 29 bronze medals.
The bronze tally include one won in men's football competition where Manipur defeated host Meghalaya 2-0 .
Nagaland won the gold with a solitary goal win over Mizoram.
Out of ten disciplines held during the four-day competition, Manipur failed to win medal only in basketball and badminton as Wushu athletes topped the medal haul with 19 gold followed by judokas at nine.
Four gold medal each came from the boxing ring and archery field while athletes added two.
Karate and table tennis also contributed to the State's gold tally.
The triumph in the regional sports extravaganza's 24th edition held at the Meghalaya State capital is the 20th overall title for Manipur.
Gold medal winners in wushu competition held today included N Niroda (48 kg), Th Binapani (60), L Ronen Singh (48), Th Beishnop (66), Y amu (60) and W Sanjoy (65).P Sakuntala (45) and M Robert (75) settled for the silver medal after defeat against their respective rivals in the final while W Nanao secured the bronze in 52 kg competition.
In boxing event, Sh Sarjubala (46 kg), M Sanaton (51), M Keilyani Devi (48) and Sh Basanti Chanu (50) overcame their respective opponents in the final bouts while A Bony Sharma (48), Ng Hemba (57), S Jugindro (64) and Inaosana (69) secured the silver medals.
Lakia Soibam (57), Y Sandhyarani (63), Th Joymati (66) and Th Khagemba (60) were the bronze medal winners in the competition.
