A Farewell to Arms An exhibition documenting the human cost of arms proliferation, was inaugurated by renowned photographer Raghu Rai on today, at India Habitat Centre, in New Delhi.
Organised by Control Arms Foundation of India and Manipur Women Gun Survivors Network, photographs from Jammu and Kashmir, the Naxal region and the North East India were exhibited showcasing the human cost of arms and armed violence.
Among the 12 photographers include, RK Bullu Singh, Ratan Luwangcha, Ngassepam Liklaileima and Jinendra Maibam from Manipur.

Speaking to the media, Photographer Raghu Rai, whose first photograph of Manipur were among the photographs in the exhibition said " The media had not been covering places like Manipur".
Strongly emphasising the " business' of arms and the cost of human lives," Raghu Rai further stated that " a place like Manipur is an example of unregulated arms and its impact on the people".
