JAC of AMTUC-AMGEO spearheading the ongoing ceasework strike of State Government employees and workers demanding �full version� of 6th Pay Commission urged upon the MCS officers and Heads of Department to join the stir.
The JAC also called on the IAS officers not to take up any step which may hinder the ongoing agitation.
Meanwhile, the ceasework strike has completed 28 days today.
The JAC in a press release said that the employees of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department have joined the strike from today.
The employees Department would attain only emergency cases.
The teachers of various Government educational institutions may also join the agitation if the Government continues to maintain stoic silence on the issue, the JAC warned.
Meanwhile, the Sadar Hills branch of the JAC has asked all the Government offices under the branch to close down with immediate effect.
According to a press release of JAC AMTUC-AMGEO Chandel Branch, the strike paralysed all the offices including main administrative and Treasury offices in the district.
The stir would continue until the demands of JAC are met, added the press release.
