Imphal, September 28 2010:
On the eve of Lamyanba Irabot's birth anniversary, the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has called upon all the people of Manipur to follow the footsteps of the great leader.
The socio-political decadence being witnessed in Manipur in the form of increased number of immoral people, people with criminal tendencies, drug addicts, widening gap between the rich and the poor, nepotism, corruption and the sustained oppression of the public by the ruling class have their roots in the subservient political status of Manipur.
To tide over all these miseries and woes, the people of Manipur who have been awakened by the writings and works of Lamyanba Irabot need to march towards the final destination of the liberation movement, the RPF called out in a press release issued by its Publicity Secretary T Leisemba.
Observing that more and more people, both belonging to Manipur and outside, have taken the footsteps of Irabot with the intention to put his principles into action, the outfit hailed Irabot as a genuine leader of the mass.
He was sincere, compassionate and upright.
He could identify with the woes of underprivileged people and had the ability to inspire people to be laborious.
The outfit further called upon the people to look for the footprints of Lamyanba Irabot and identify his vision in order to do away with all kinds of injustice.
