As a part of its ongoing campaign against intoxicants, Education Cell of All Manipur Anti-Drugs Association (AMADA) conducted an academic awareness programme at Unique Golden Cradle School, Awang Khunou, NC Road today.
Around 150 students participated in the programme organised under the theme, 'prevention of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
Superintendent of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), RK Ibungosana, Psychiatrist Dr H Angomcha and Advocate Soibam Hemanta spoke in the programme as resource persons.
A quiz competition was also conducted as a part of the programme in which Yaiphabi Loktongbam, Terja Loktongbam and Naoba Angom got prizes.
