Imphal, August 06: Citing intimation of All India Football Federation not granting recognition to 7-a-side Football Association as a legal body AMFA has instructed district associations against fielding registered players in tournaments organised by the said Association.

Stern disciplinary action will be initiated against affiliated units in case of violating the AMFA instructions, added a release.

Meanwhile, a separate AMFA release has listed women�s football tournaments to be held from September onwards for which registration and entry formalities are to be completed with August 31.As per the AMFA calendar the competitions include Under-17, 19 and senior inter-district tournaments.
