Imphal, August 06: Manipur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council, Imphal strongly condemned the firing at the residence of its Advisor Sh Shamu Singh on August 4 at around 7 pm.

Citing that the gun shots had created uneasy situation to the local residents, MAPI appealed to all concerned against committing such acts in future while demanding clarification from groups concerned.

ABHSU flays: Asihn Boys Hostel Students' Union, Minuthong Telepati, Imphal vehemently condemned arrest of the hostel�s Manager Md Habib alias Athe by Imphal East Police commandos on the evening of August 2.
