IA agrees to lift medicines

Imphal, August 06: The Associated Manipur Chamber of Commerce today informed that Indian Airlines authorities have agreed to the proposal to air lift life saving drugs and other medicines from Kolkata & Guwahati to Imphal on priority basis in view of the economic blockade enforced along the National Highways.

Medicine whole-sellers have been intimated to contact their counterparts in Kolkata and Guwahati to book medicine their consignments through air cargo, said the Chamber of Commerce in a statement today.
