Imphal, August 06: As a consequence of tremendous efforts and suggestion from social organisations for unification the Kuki National Front, United Kuki Liberation Front and Kuki Revolutionary Army have decided to work and operate under a single administrative mechanism of Kuki National Council, said a press release.

The unification process is being pursued in view of political imbroglio faced by the Kukis and factional inclination amongst revolutionary groups, asserted the release issued by KNC information and publicity secretary Kapkithang kuki.

Appealing to remaining groups to join hands with KNC in the fight to protection of rights and aspiration of the Kuki people, Kapkithang also appealed to the Central Government to abstain from playing divisive role and stop assistance to �specific faction� in suppressing other groups.

In case the Government of India is sincere enough in solving the political problem of the Kuki the KNC will the sole representative of the Kukis, added the release.
