Imphal, September 29: Stating that cease work strike launched by part time lecturers is severely hampering academic atmosphere of United College, Chandel students� union of the institute fervently appealed to the State Government to solve the issue without further delay.

A press statement of the Union referring to demand for salary hike and regularisation of the part timers said failure to find an amicable end to the ongoing impasse would only compound problems besetting education sector throughout the State.
