Imphal, September 05: Directorate of Minorities and Other Backward Classes, Manipur informs the selected beneficiaries of poultry scheme under Economic Development Programme 2004-05 to collect poultry chicks and feeds from September 6 onwards.

Details can be had from the Directorate office.

MAFYF branch: Manipur Forward Youth Front, MAFYF General Council Manipur has opened its Kakching Branch today and appointed Pukhrambam Ingocha Meitei as president and Mayanglambam Ibochou as general secretary respectively.

CNPO grateful: Chandel Naga People�s Organisation (CNPO) has expressed its gratefulness to Col KS Kadian, CO of 24 Assam Rifles and his soldiers for having done a yeoman service to the people of Chandel district.

In a short span of one year, the AR unit has endeared itself well and their departure from Chandel would be a loss to every one in Chandel, CNPO general secretary WNG Kohring Victor said in a statement.

Victor informed that the unit has executed a large number of MCA projects.
